C.A.R.A. Holds Community Garden Planting Event in conjunction with Urban Farming
Fun! Food! Music!
C.A.R.A. along with Urban Farming will be planting the first seeds of Spring on Saturday and holding an outdoor festival to celebrate. Live music by the band High Profile and DJ Chuck. Come volunteer at the 2nd largest community garden in Detroit!

C.A.R.A. Meets with City Council
Members from CARA met with the City Council to understand the first draft of the Urban Agricultural Workgroup. Unfortunately, the timer for the City Council forgot how long two minutes was and attempted to shut down CARA spokeswoman Joyce Johnson before she could finish. However, we at CARA WILL be heard..
